Transfer Rumours Summer transfer rumours 2023

Nah - I've never really paid much attention to Bundesliga before, I'm afraid.

Gutted that Tella's left, but can't blame the lad at all. Hope he Smashes it for Leverkusen. Will certainly keep an eye on the Bundesliga this season, now!

Any club not one of the big six is only three or four transfer windows from relegation - just look at Leicester, Winning the league, champions league football, top 5 & still relegated just a couple of years later. The fact that we stayed up as long as we did is a small miracle in itself.

Our club is acting very petty

Fair enough, I hope they keep running the affiliated club at Tier 7, rather than scrap them entirely. Southampton seems to be a bit of a hotbed for Women's football and it's a fast growing sport. Scrapping them would be very short sighted.

They already applied for a second tier licence according to the BBC: https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/43516116 despite playing at tier 7 currently. The established Southampton teams play at Tier 4, one possibly Tier 3 next season (Southampton Womens FC are unbeaten all season so far...

About that - the rivalry is with Southampton FC, I recently realised I've not been to a Southampton FC game all season but I've been to a lot of Southampton Women's games & even followed reserves & U16s results. They say you can't change clubs but Southampton Women U16 won the league cup this...

Our club is acting very petty

There are three main women's teams in Southampton - Southampton Saints Girls & Ladies (formerly Red Star Southampton & once affiliated to the club until we were last relegated), Southampton Women's FC (never affiliated to the club, the most successful Women's team in Southampton & only Arsenal...

I'd agree if it wasn't that by any normal reading of the rules the player was actually eligible. Hampshire FA are bending over backwards to accommodate a premiership club by playing semantics over the word "participate" At this point in the competition, she had to have "participated" in it...

Check the email address of the team contact to see for yourself: https://www.hcwfl.com/team-contacts/ They appear to have no other official online presence though, execpt the FAs's "Full Time" Website...

Yes, Southampton FC Women are affiliated to the official club - they're the club that the club has applied for a licence in tier 2 of the Women's game for: https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/43516116 - jumping over both established Southampton Women's teams in the process. Southampton Women FC...

For the first time in my entire life, I shall be supporting a Portsmouth team against Southampton FC one, and in a cup final at that.

Yeah, Southampton Women - I not only follow them on Twitter, but just about every social media platform & many of the players too. They're all a real joy to go and watch (only £3 + £1 for programme. food/drink at the stadium is cheap too); I should probably follow more grass roots sport at that...
