I have no opinion of Russell mainly because I never saw him play. I know that he was sent off a couple of times during his loan but I would expect Sir Chris to use the signing on fee/wages on a better Championship/Premiership type player, preferrably a creative midfielder.

Don't wanna throw a dampner to our happy throng, but my West ham 'mate' says that an enquiry has been made regarding the purchase of Chris Solly......don't know the outcome yet but apparently it was an official approach.
