    why not get cargiant on board and give them the stadium naming rights? if they're involved in some way surely that would remove some obstacles?

    it really is a strange situation. tony and co are spending millions on getting plans drawn up for a stadium on land they don't own and by all accounts have very little chance of owning. all the positivity from the fans and local businesses count for nothing I'm afraid.

    drogheda utd ( a team in Ireland ) was fined €18,000 by the FAI because one of their fans waved a Palestinian flag at a recent game. would they have got the same if it was an Israeli flag I wonder?
