    HMS Bounty from "Mutiny on the Bounty" fame was built at Blaydes shipyard in Hull. Ok not a person but the best I could do :P

    You should give the young adult books a go they are really good, and I'm 35, also for completeness they tie up some of the "witches" story lines. Plus they feature the nac mac feegle who are a perfect mockery of the scots :P P.s I've read them all and the City Watch stories are my favourite <ok>
