Leave it, Col. Only reason you would 'like' posts that are having a dig at me is to have a sly dig yourself. I understand you've been asked not to do that. Unless there's any other reason you're getting yourself involved on the sly? Oh - and I've not insulted you - so stop insulting me.

Sniff sniff. Watch out Ellers, Col's clearly less exclusive nowadays... Oh - and I'm only a fan of Corbyn because he's the best thing to happen for the Conservatives in a long time...

I see two things here. Firstly, you're fishing to continue this (despite saying you were leaving it) by deliberately turning whatever anyone says. And secondly, I see Col's back egging you on. You two really ought to set a date, because he's clearly sniffing around for something.

Are you telling me the world hasn't changed? And that the same socio-economic and political environment of the past 1000 years still exists? Or are you going to accept that the world has moved on, and we as a nation cannot go back to what appear to some to be 'the good old days' of rickets and smog?

I've answered your question, you just don't want to acknowledge it. And if you'd like to point out where I personally attacked you, and not your opinion, then please do so.

Not at all. Goldie mentioned the last 1000 years. I can only assume that's what he was talking about. As I pointed out - it's a very different world, and you cannot use 'empire-days' logic when discussing 21st Century politics or economics.

Not at all. You really don't get it, do you? The point of a re-vote (either in parliament or publically) would be to give the public a clear understanding of what 'Leave' and 'Remain' actually mean - something that for Leave was completely unclear, s no discussions on any point had even been...

You want to take us back to the Middle Ages? You want to take us back to slavery, Empire building through military conquest, and the Plague? It's a different world now. It's an incredibly different world to 40 years ago, let alone a thousand. I'm frankly amazed you don't acknowledge that.

Not so. I posted an opposing view, and rather than debate it, you chose to ignore it. I can see why you voted Leave now.

I'm pointing out that the referendum result is not, and never will be, legally binding. Read into that whatever rose- or crap-tinted view you like, however it's still true.

Are you seriously saying that you'd rather the country walked into a known crisis than remain in the EU? If so, please give your reasons for doing so.

Of course a scenario is an argument. You asked why a further vote could be needed, and I described exactly why one might be required. If you don't want to accept genuine answers to questions you post, they why post the question in the first place?

OK, here's one... Scenario: We discuss with the EU parliament and the individual governments for the next 12-18 months over what our relationships with the EU and it's nations will look like post-EU. All of the unknowns (basically everything related to the negotiations) demonstrate a clear...
