Away at the Amex – Info for Tigers Fans

In reply to some of your comments: – The near 800 City fans who came last night are absolute heroes. No doubt about that. It’s such a shame that, for many of them, their first visit to the Amex was marred by horrendous, flood-related transport problems beyond anyone’s control. With the...

Trains to Brighton tomorrow - Service Alterations

The Southern Trains website is now announcing there will be some disruptions to the London-Brighton services tomorrow, Monday. At the moment, they're showing a half hourly service using an alternative route, diverted via Lewes. Which, with Falmer just one stop down the line, could actually work...

Away at the Amex – Info for Tigers Fans

Simply not true. Perhaps you didn't look at the opening post? Parking for both home and away fans is available in the Bridge car park. As the map on seagulls.co.uk shows, this is very close to the Amex – a couple of minutes walk up the road. There will be plenty of spaces available. As...

Away at the Amex – Info for Tigers Fans

Thanks for the comments. Some points in response. Firstly, ‘middle of nowhere’? The Amex is right next to Falmer station, with shuttle trains arriving and leaving every 10 minutes or less. And being right beside the A27, with universities on either side, it’s also on several major bus...

Away at the Amex – Info for Tigers Fans

Just to clarify a few things for anyone coming down to the Amex next Monday. For most away fans the easiest and best option by far is to come by train. Falmer station is right beside the ground and, these days, getting away isn’t a problem. Leave on the final whistle, queue for maybe...
