Im pretty sure Fowler missed a penalty at Arsenal in the late 90's when Seaman challenged him and he didnt think it should have been given - seemed deliverate to me back then.
It's only British supporters and media which have a thing about diving. If you told a Spanish football fan someone should deliberately miss a penalty they'd look at you like you had two heads. The ref can worry about the rules, players kick the round thing in the square thing.
From reading various headlines, I see that, even though they are Premier League Champions, Leicester City weren't allowed to just beat Man City, and let it go at that. Man City had to have had an off-day. The arrogance in the football media continues to stun.

Doubt you need to worry. If anything, it would probably spur the likes of Costa on even more. If would probably do great mental damage to a team like Arsenal or City, but the opposite for Chelsea. Anyway, I'd expect a very public final warning at best.
