The AOC threads have obviously dominated today, so I shall not drag this thread out. I've just got in from a hard day at the office, I'm a bit hot & a bit annoyed, even more so after reading all the reports flying around today. Very frustrating indeed. But; Make no mistake, Nicola Cortese has got Southampton FC the very best deal for the soon to be 18 year old wizz kid. So don't be too annoyed at the ill advised kid, raise a glass to our marvelous chairman. You never know, if it all goes wrong.....he might well return with his tail between his legs. Hope his dad enjoys the money. Hope Alex enjoys the Carling cup.
I hope, for his sake, that he lines up against Saints next season. Being in a team like Arsenal, that's not guaranteed. [Did you see what I did there..? ]
All going well tomorrow and the next round we could well find ourselves enjoying a match against the Arsenal in the carling cup. Then we can Panto Boo him
We couldn't meet Arsenal until the 3rd round actually(sorry to do that!). But I do hope we draw them in one of the cups
I wouldn't boo him but I won't cheer him either. What's the point in booing a player who's moved on to a much bigger club? He's hardly gone and beaten or sexually assaulted anyone up like Joey Barton/Marlon King. He's moved on and so should we. I wish him luck at Arsenal anyway.
Hope he's enjoyed his first day in London, although he should let his dad know where he is according to the police.
