Imagine signing for a manager that called you a sewer rat previously. Tells you all you need to know about Diouf. I think calling him a sewer rat was being complimentary.
Apparently the Lower School End and entire Ellerslie Stand will be closed for the Cup game, what a short-sighted waste of an opportunity. If they had all tickets a tenner and a pound for kids they might actually get a half decent crowd, instead we'll be lucky to top 5,000...
Aren't some players "sewer rats" on the pitch, but the nicest blokes in the World off it? I've no idea if this applies to Diouf or not, but Colin said that just after Mackie had had his leg broken, not by Diouf, but very much in the heat of the moment. All successful teams need a "sewer rat" as well and Diouf was a good player, and looked a good signing for Leeds when I saw him play for them..
Lack of people using their heads at the club. In January especially, people appreciate saving a few quid.
Club needs to fill the ground esp after Hilliways speech To get LR rocking good idea to have a few fans in the ground
At £15 I probably will go because I still love the cup. I don't think the prices are unrealistic- most people just can't be arsed with another incredibly dull cup tie. If we won it I think we'd pack the ground for the fourth round for the sheer novelty value.
Tickets go on sale on Monday. School lower tier and Ellerslie Road will be closed. Crikey the FA Cup has gone downhill! S/T holder prices are £10 adults £5 everyone else, except under 18's £1 and accompanied U8's free. Non S/T holders £15 adults, £10 everyone else except Under 18's £5 and accompanied U8's free. Tickets purchased on matchday will be £15 adults, £10 seniors O'60's/Young adults 18-21 and £5 juniors U18. 10 loyalty points awarded prior to matchday purchases, none on the day of the match. That all seems reasonable to me.
