Good Morning Everyone,

With 3 points tonight, we will go 3rd in the table!

Would anybody else have even contemplated this after our first 4 or 5 games of the season?

Similarly though, if Brighton win, they go top!

Garry Monk has been talking to Phil Hay about Leeds chances of promotion, and he is not getting carried away:-

“We’ve done exceptionally well and I’m not taking anything away from the group but I know what it is to be successful and to have a team who can reach a higher standard,” Monk said. “We need to be better. “In this period, from Christmas and into the new year, every game becomes harder. People start to focus a bit more on where they are (in the league). When you’re winning games and doing well you’re looked at differently. You’re maybe given a bit more respect so teams work harder against you to try and stop you. We have to be ready for that.

“If we don’t make improvements we’ll end up standing still. For me it’s not about where we are in the league or promotion. Everyone else can worry about that. There are certain aspects of our game which aren’t at the level we need. When you come into the period where games become more important and things become a bit clearer in terms of where and what you’re fighting for, the games intensify and the focus intensifies.”

“Massive credit to the players for how far they’ve come in a short space of time but they know as well as I do that the message of improvement is most important. It’s not for the sake of saying it. It’s what’s going to be needed.

“But I guess we’ve accelerated our progress very quickly. When you look at how squads are built or at other teams who’ve been successful, they’ve had longer periods than we’ve had to establish themselves so in terms of where the group is, I’m happy with that. Maybe we are ahead of schedule considering the time-frame but there’s a lot of work to do.”

Leeds are likely to argue that the fines imposed on them from the FA are disproportionate compared to similar cases like Arsenal with Chambers or Brighton with Stephens.

Will it get them anywhere?

Morning

Point 1.
Gary Monk is down playing expectations because he knows we have over achieved and have made no progress! It's clear he thinks Chesh will be paying me out again in May.

Point 2.
No... Our record of wrongdoing over recent times deserves to be taken into account.
Blame Cellino not the FA!
I saw one of two people on here suggesting an FA conspiracy in terms of timing and punishment.
Get your head from up your arses and blame the person actually responsible responsible.

Point 3. Monk will blame point 2 for point 1 and leave for a premier league job in the summer.

Here's an experiment for you.

Type into Google 'We all hate' and wait for the predictions to come in.

Leeds are top!

More hated than Isis

Morning Glory, as long as you don't have a personal vendetta against Cellino eh????

Morning all. Not bothered about the fines so long as it doesn't impact on tying up deals for Jansson, Hernandez ect. Tonight should be a good game, as they'll be positive. 1-1 draw I think

Who remembers Graham Bean?

He was the guy that grassed Leeds Utd and Cellino up to the FA regarding the McCormack bung.

This is his website, and what he does (http://www.footballfactors.com/index.php)

He had been sacked by Cellino after messing up a fixture rearrangement.

This is genuinely the message he left for Cellino when he left us!

Brief, accurate and to the point.
100% agree

Don't want to get grassed up, don't behave like a cock.

Shame its not real.
The across strokes on the T in CNUT are not the same as the ones everywhere else on the note

Morning all.. strengthening the squad will all be dependent on which teams are willing to release players who are better than we already have.

Cellino is still a crook, he has rattled the cage of the FA too many times, only expected that when given the chance they will hit him hard.

I don't believe for a second this is them against Leeds United, it is them against Cellino. It makes you reflect and wonder how Bates, GFH and Cellino all passed the fit and proper test.

I just hope Cellino stays away from the dressing room, I hope he continues to support Monk and for a change, I'm going to be going into the new year believing we have a chance at the top rather than fearing what is happening at the bottom.

Morning Boggers. I'm going for a 1-0 Leeds win, 63rd minute, Roofe goal.

Morning Ell. Got a feeling that this is going to be a replica of the last game. Goal for us in the 2nd half, late one near the end as they chase the equaliser and nice revenge for the drubbing last season.

Good day all. Josh nailed it for me. Only care about on field football. I knew nothing of our chairmen, owners or whatever in the sixties and seventies and I couldnt care less about them now. Three points tonight and we can start to believe

For once, **** the **** off the field. We're picking up points and we shouldn't take any notice imo. It'll only have a negative impact on the pitch if we do

Us discussing it cant effect it. Cellino been a lunatic and bringing **** to the clubs door is what will do the damage AGAIN.
