We thought a civil war in this country to establish a principal that laws should not be made or taxes raised except by our ellected representatives.
"NO TAXATION WITHOUT REPRESENTATION"
Being able to get rid of our lawmakers is a fundamental democratic right.
In the EU we are unable to do this - currently 59% of British laws are those defined by the EU - and there is diddly squat we can do about it
