The article doesn't mention us Tramore. Just wondering why you say "we might be looking for a new kit supplier next season"? Have you heard a rumour? I must say, I like this years kit. I bought the first and third shirts. The first year I have ever both more than one shirt.

Agreed...... heard nothing, just relaying what has been posted elsewhere.......but us and Watford were the way into UK market for that company and for one to go within 6 months doesn't look good.........plus there are rumors of being unable to meet the financial agreement with clubs in Brasil and have lost that contract as well.......

I like the kit but it matters not who makes it as long as we keep impressing on the owners that we will not settle for anything less than hoops all the way round, without big white patches in order to display the number and Dennis the Menace as second or third strips all the time. The other colour combination should always be hoops

I heard a rumour about a month ago that Dryworld had gone bust but forgot to mention it on here.

Sorry, no dramatic news that I can find here - perhaps the Watford decision is totally unrelated to our current shirt deal.

Beyond this article, and many others, with much fanfare back in May, I'm not finding any suggesting Watford is terminating their current Dryworld shirt deal.

DRYWORLD hand Watford their biggest ever commercial deal

Watford have secured the biggest sponsorship sum in its history by signing a three-year deal with DRYWORLD, who will become the club’s new technical partner.

We understand the deal, which ends the club’s association with Puma, is worth several million per year and, we are told, eclipses the amount 138.com pay per year as shirt sponsor, an arrangement that still has a year to run. The deal with DRYWORLD, which will supply the Hornets with playing kit, replica kit and training wear, is also the first major one struck by Spencer Field, the club’s commercial director who replaced Alan McTavish after he moved to Everton at the start of the season. Watford will also change catering partners in the summer after exercising a break clause in the previous deal with Lindley Venue Catering.

DRYWORLD also partner Queens Park Rangers, recently agreeing a ten-year deal to be their technical kit suppliers. Watford represent DRYWORLD’s first deal with a Premier League club as they ambitiously bid to crack the UK and US markets, taking on giants like Nike and Adidas.

QPR’s 10-year kit deal hits the rocks

QPR are looking for a new kit manufacturer – eight months after signing a 10-year deal with Dryworld.

The Canada-based company have been experiencing financial problems and Rangers will finish their association with them at the end of the season.

The club is also considering legal action over an alleged breach of contract, relating both to unpaid money and a failure to produce merchandise on time.

This season’s replica shirts were not ready for sale at the start of the campaign and the QPR squad began the season still using training gear supplied by Nike, the club’s previous kit manufacturer, because Dryworld’s stock arrived late.

A number of other clubs, including Watford, are also ending their association with Dryworld.
