Does Foster have an 'r in his surname? I think I'll believe all the expert pundits over you thank you very much!!! I mean, they are paid to know the players, so they must know their names...it's Foster, not Forster!!! Duh!!!!! Hahahahahaha!!!! I didn't see that for looking! What a plonker!
He did nothing here for three years so I expect he'll be coming back with something to prove. He should just drop a few coins in the charity box and piss off.
You can't help but like Gaston...most of us do and I have no idea why....when our present players have one bad game and get slagged off. Just a dreamy little lad who drifted in and out of the game. I wish him well, but am sticking pins in a doll to get him injured before they play us. Perhaps he'll get confused by being at SMS and will fall asleep automatically.
Our love in with Gaston was a bit weird. But let's face it, you couldn't help yourself. One of his last games was at Anfield and he headed the ball across for Sadio to poke over the line. Where I was stood it looked for a moment as if it was Gaston's header that had gone in, and I was ecstatic. Anyone at Goodison when he punted the ball past the Everton keeper for an equaliser seconds after coming on will also recall that he ran to the opposite corner and handed his shirt to a young Everton fan. Poor lad had obviously been told that our fans were in the corner. Let's face facts. He didn't fit our style of play, but he came across as a decent young man with considerable talent who didn't slag off the club at any point. I'd love to see him do well - after we've played Boro, of course.
You can be harsh! Allegedly he has given interviews since being at Boro. A friend of mine who is a Boro fan said he was difficult to understand as he spoke pretty clear English, unlike his intended audience.

I don't know if you've also noticed but, that was a bit of a feature of Gaston's play. He was often in that position, from a cross or corner, and he'd come charging in to head the ball back across the goalmouth or directed at the far post, often at the top of a pyramid of players. Off-hand I can think of 3-4 times he did this, and I'm pretty sure he did it loads more. Has a good leap on him, does Ramirez. Still can't help wishing he was with us. Odd.
