    Good afternoon all

I thought with Christmas coming up and the great racing we all have to look forward to I wanted to start a thread that separates the fancied runners to those that are tips from a contact. This way we can make our own decisions on those that we want to 'get the wheelbarrow' out for. I know this is reliant on those with the info being generous enough to put it up and others not making it up.

Buy hey nothing ventured nothing gained

What sources for info do you have fella?

I guess that question could be posed to anyone/everyone who comes on here but as it's your thread and you that's asking for it then I think it's a fair question.

To be honest I don't have a lot but I have a few people who I know that are working in or around a few yards close to where I live. To name a couple, Matt Shepherd, David Dennis, Fergal O'brien ( but I think everyone gets something from the Fergal runners lol)

I don't get a lot from them as there not massive yards but generally when they do they are okay!

Well fergal is not the biggest yard but he has been very prolific the last two months --over thirty winners - many at decent odds --your pals not sharing ?

It's only a certain owner who hasn't had tht many runners but now that we have this thread I'm more than happy to share. No one has to use this thread but I thought it would be nice to have with us all no doubt looking to enjoy this Xmas's racing. Hopefully people won't go to upset when some get turned over as nothing is guaranteed.

Always makes me chuckle on here when I read I’ve been told ‘blah blah’. Makes me ponder who by the butcher, the baker, the candlestick maker, or the voices in your head?!?

Seriously though it does open up the age old debate about what is better a tip received from someone’s (alleged) contact or one from a poster who has given advice based on hours of form study??? Interesting question that, methinks, and I'm quite surprise by my own ingenuity.

Stick, that was a very personal question you posed earlier asking a chap to reveal his ‘sources’. Cor blimey I was most shocked by your audacity and candidness. Although it would be hilarious if certain types were asked to do so on here - just to see what they said. Always remember that mad bloke who used to frequent 606 and claimed to have a contact in every yard in the country!

Very good point the Chuckle, personally I think for people to be successful in this game they need to be studying for hours every day as videos for me are the key as reading something is someone else view and your own eye won't lie.

There are certain yards who when they fancy one they generally are always in the mix but as we're all in it to beat the bookies i feel that this page won't do any harm

    Yep, totally agree. Good point.

As Rudebwoy has stated above it will be very interesting to see how everything fares on an level stakes profit basis. Should be insightful to find out.
