Really, Really, Really, Really hope Welbeck has a stormer against Holland and keeps Judas out of the team in future !.

Even if it does extinguish our very faint, dying hopes of ever seeing him in a SAFC shirt again !.
 
Totally agree - but who would you put in ahead of Bent in the squad?? Rooney & Welbeck are the only ones (if Welbeck is on top form) and therefore he'd get his place - Crouch is 30 and Defoe (last season) scored 4 goals and is knocking on the 30 door as well - Bent is the best England have ATM - hope his shoulder injury only keeps him out for a coupl (of seasons)

Although, like my murphy's, I'm not bitter (much!)
 
How has Welbeck been picked after only playing competitively for Sunderland in the last year? I thought you had to play for a proper "footballing" team like Villa to play for England ;-)
