I'm also on Anibale Fly lads! We're doomed <laugh> I often felt he wasn't asked for the max over hurdles at times and he looked a real natural on Chase debut so hopefully he can progress and win today.

I've had no luck with my selections today so I'll have one more punt on Undressed in the next to bail me out of jail.

Captain Von Trappe travelled superbly most of that race. Looked like he wanted further even...the lads plotting up another for the GN.

Nice to see Josses Hill pick up a decent chase. Has a heap of ability but seems to like flat right handed tracks.

I wonder how they will campaign him?

    On flat right-handed tracks perhaps?

Next stop Kempton for the Desert Orchid Chase?

Talking of educational rides, lovely job by Patrick on Getabird. Great horsemanship how he stoked him up off the final bend hands and heels, the horse quickened into the bridle and was back hard on the steel, Patrick then just let him glide into the lead and pushed him out on the run in. Very taking run and nice horsemanship.

Well I was just thinking more in terms of spring targets? There isn't a whole host for him in the UK so perhaps we might see him head to Punchestown and who knows possibly something at Sandown, skipping Cheltenham and Aintree?

I was wondering whether they might look at the old Racing Post Chase at Kempton for him? Its over 3 miles but is a BIG pot and Kempton would suit him. Got 2m4f no problem today but off 156 (maybe even higher) it could be a big ask in a handicap, especially if it were bottomless ground. The other option could be the Ascot Chase over 2m5f - he has run twice at Ascot, winning a bumper and finishing 2nd to Ptit Zig on soft (getting 4lbs).

Mate of mine has a link now into the Elliot stable so should hopefully get some good info going forward. They were very sweet on Campeador and he was cruising but was brought down at the last. With VVM not getting up today the bookies were saved from a right old battering from punters
