Must admit I'm not the biggest fan of his time of year and the sooner the overweight basstud with the white beard and red tunic disappears back up the chimney the better But saw this on twitter earlier and melted - well, as near as I get to melting during December. It's Alex Neil's house after today's result A.K.A Blickling Hall, near Aylsham. please log in to view this image
Looks like the girlfriend and I are going to get a kitten! When I lived at my parents we had a cat who I loved so much, and she was always said was "My Cat" because she would just run to me and follow me everywhere. Towards the end of her life, my parents went to South Africa for 3 weeks, and I went to get her and she lived at ours. It was wonderful to come home to see her again. She died a couple of years ago, and I miss her everyday. The thought of having a kitten again would be fantastic. Can't really get a puppy as we both work, so I'd feel more guilty about shutting it up in the day, where as a cat can always sleep and never needs a walk. Every gorgeous little kitten we have pinpointed, has been reserved or snapped up so quickly. It's not nice. You fall for the pictures and descriptions and can really imagine them in our home. Then get told they are gone. We will continue to keep an eye out, but my GF has gone from being a little bit scared of cats, to being really excited and looking up kittens most days.
My daughter went here - http://www.felinecare.org.uk/rehoming and they always have cats for rehoming, though they don't always have kittens. Have you seen a Streetcat Named Bob?? I've seen the film and read the book - both very enjoyable. Be prepared for your furniture being scratched etc, but it's worth it!!!
You have to make an appointment to go to the Feline Care Cat Rescue - it's just off the A11 just past Snetterton/Angel Pub.
Ah right, I know that one. Not been there. Went to the website. Looks like it's more old/mature cats mainly?
My daughter got 2 kittens (not related) both about 3 months old, so you may have to wait for kittens and not all of their cats are on the website.
Blimey! That's very young! Plus, most don't sell kittens individually. They will only sell with siblings.
Oh well, I guess Norwich REALLY needs another fast/junk food outlet - http://www.edp24.co.uk/news/shakeaway_milkshake_bar_to_open_in_norwich_1_4808128 I mean, so far this year, we've had - Krispy Kreme, 5 Guys (burgers) and now this!!!! Sometimes, I walk through the food court in Castle Mall on my way to Carrow Road on a Saturday and it is usually packed - WHY??????
