In defence. Some people work within industries that deal with sports clubs, bands and (so called) famous celeb's. If for any reason it gets back to an employer that information is being given out it could lead to disciplinary action or even the sack. I know employers who go on forums, facebook etc and have given staff warnings as such.

To be fair you right, in my business I find out lots of interesting gossip about the music world but I am really very careful not to post anything on the Internet that would ever get back to me. A collegue of mine got caught out recently after posting something he should not have and got in big trouble.

If someone is ITK they will probably tell their mates face to face and that's how the rumours start. I think quite often their is an element of truth in a lot of what gets reported but its never the full story.
