Serious point about Sodipo... He is flawed. That has to be recognised. When he came on against Norwich we lost a lot of defensive integrity. He was run ragged and his cover was terrible, apart from one moment where he won the ball back to great applause. Don't get me wrong... I like him but he really needs to be coached well and used in a certain position or situation where we're really secure defensively. He offers us something we haven't had in a long time, in attacking play: someone who will take defenders on and make a cross. But, as he develops, he really needs support around him on the pitch and has a lot to learn before he has a more complete game.
I agree with you. He is not the finished article by any means. He lost the ball on the edge of the area which resulted in the Norwich goal. More coaching should indeed improve his defensive play. What he does have is good attacking play which is what we have been lacking for such a long time. Hopefully he continues to develope and improve.
