Thanks Attivo, and thanks again for the daily thread. Absolute star.
I fancy our boy tomorrow, shame we yet again have a pony stall to contend with.

I like the look of that race for Squire, not too much early pace in the field and if he can slot in two wide then should get away from that poor draw. Think Johnstons will make it with the horse in 15, hopefully Squire is alert from the stalls for you this time.

    Extracted from drawbias.com

    Key Characteristics
The Chelmsford City surface is polytrack, and unlike the other polytrack coarsest is a galloping track and most horses can act on it. There seems to have been a definite bias towards front runners. The draw bias stats include the time when the racecourse was called Great Leighs as the track configuration and surface have not altered.

The first meeting was held under the name Chelmsford City on the 11th January 2015. The jockeys reported that the surface was riding very deep, and visually it appeared that their was a tremendous amount of kickback, meaning it was difficult for horses to come from behind. Time will tell if the surface is going to settle down.

The course is settling down now however the bias towards front runners appears to be even larger and it is very hard to come from behind at Chelmsford.

    Conclusions
There doesn't appear to be any bias here with the slight difference between low and high being explained by the small sample size. This isn't a surprise Chelmsford City is a wide course with sweeping turns so over a mile there will be plenty of opportunities to get your horse into the correct position.

Best of luck with Squire tomorrow.

Here are the riding instructions <laugh>
East Coast Lady is likely to break fast and try to make all. If he does, go with him and take him on 2 out. If he doesn't, try to work your way to within a couple of lengths of the leader and push for home 2 out

Actually, Titan Goddess is extremely interesting looking back at the last run here, just got caught napping when push came to shove. Won easily here before that too.

Squire, Titan Goddess and Foie Gras my 3 for the race. No bet and I hope Squire wins for ya's <ok>

Smadynium should prove tough to beat in 12.40 even after being raised 9lbs by the pesky hcapper following a nice win lto at Fairyhouse. I'm normally not a fan of backing Shark Hanlon runners but I'm taking this lad to follow up and go in again at 9/4.
Best of luck with Squire again Stickler.Think the old boy has got a decent chance; if he breaks well he should be bang on in there.

I see that Squire is tipped up by ‘Racing Post Spotlight’, ‘Racing Post Ratings’ and the ‘Daily Mirror’. The big question must be what, and I do mean what, do they know?!? That’s quite a triumvirate of agreement there, methinks.

All the best with the old boy.

DOUVAN not declared for Tingle Creek.

    UN DE SCEAUX goes instead.

Andddddd another Racing Post headline helps bookmakers lead punters astray.

Don't believe a word that company says and be very careful in March when they big a horse up pre-Cheltenham week and then a mystery injury rules it out.
