Been to Horsey and Waxham (and Eccles / Sea Palling <yikes>) today seal-watching.
Literally hundreds on that stretch of beach, bulls, cows(?) and many fluffy white pups.
Lots of bulls fighting, (the sea started to turn red at one point, honestly!) mother and pup bonding on the sandy beaches, just yards from the viewing areas in the dunes.
Been once before but not with so many young ones around.
Drove through Eccles on the way home - my mate commented 'there's no pub in the village'.
I said 'we could open a theme bar - and call it Rednex'! <yikes>
(Yes, the car doors were locked until we got to the other end of the "village"!)

An ex flatmate of mine used to know 'people' from the Larkman, when I moved back to Norfolk in the late 80s. But as you can tell, I made it out in one piece and am still alive <ok>
Though I fear they might have nicked my "humanity" while I wasn't watching <wah>

Just heard on radio 5 that the new £5 notes are not vegetarian friendly :emoticon-0112-wonde
Apparently they contain traces of tallow, which is derived from animal fat!
Sorry if anyone is midway through roasting and basting fivers just now? WTF??

I heard that. P*ssed me off.

If you are vegan or Veggie. Don't eat the £5 notes!!

We are going to have to pour more tax payers money into re-printing some notes! As usual, rather than using the money into the NHS or Education. Let's pick on a tiny thing we can get on our high horse about, and drive this country further into the dirt!

Interesting article on BBC re school leavers opting for apprenticeships as opposed to Uni with all of its associated debts. It obviously focussed on an employer such as BAE where apprentices are well looked after etc, but I'm sure there are many employers who do not offer the same level of support to their apprentices. I guess there will always be a demand for school leavers to go away to Uni to 'fend for themselves' etc, but I feel that the drive to increase the number of apprentices has got to be carefully managed.

Amazon just shipped me dead viking pirate pjs instead of a Kindle.
I can only imagine the disappointment of the person receiving my Kindle.

I'm hoping we'll see reruns of some of the episodes of Watery Fowls - I think the one with the psychiatrists was my favourite!!!
