Good Evening / Morning Everyone,

Leeds make the 90 mile trip down the M62 on Tuesday to face the (current) second best team in the Country.

Leeds will welcome back Jansson after his one match ban, Cooper is expected to drop to the bench.

Hernandez is not expected back for another fortnight.

Bridcutt will resume full training this week, but is not expected back until mid December.

Liverpool, who have one eye on the Premiership, are expected to bench their top stars.

Should Leeds put out their strongest team?

yes full strength and i would surprise liverpool and put antonsson to be an attacking midfielder just behind wood and dukarra , 2 wingers also who can get back to midfield after crossing the ball , 4 in defence a flat back 4 , formation is really a 4-4-2 but with 3 strikers unknown to liverpool on the pitch , when leeds go 2-0 up in 2nd half change it to 4-5-1 and counter attack liverpool when they attack us , there are several liverpool players out injured also which will help us

sTRAIGHT INTO MEETING. Pls could someone start the Breakfast debate.

Leaving at 12 for the footy....
One of the most common phrases on earth is "up to the thumbs" which means the situation is critical. The phrase has been universally in use since shortly after the invention of the bucket. Good morning all.

LeedsLover all of us would agree with you, except:

If Pontus gets injured and Bartley gets sent off, or Wood is hurt ....... How do we replace these players in crucial league matches, which could mean we loase 5 on the bounce whilst waiting for them. By then the season is over and we are fighting for mid table. Yes if we field a full team and they all come through thats great, but face facts/odds. We will be unlikely to win so risking injuries is a gamble on a match which isnt important.

Important only to the clubs finance director and becomes important to the fans if we reached the final.

I understand and respect your point Doc, but, a team should be picked to play and win every match, that's what the game is all about.

During Revies, Wilko's and O'Leary's days we always fielded a full team and the coach and players played to win, and wanted to reach the final and win a trophy, if a player got injured he got injured playing his heart out, players take a risk every time they take to the field. Situation in their days was exactly same as it is today, except top players are wrapped in cotton wool and fed nutrients through a straw these days (exaggeration of course).

Players can get injured during a league match as much as they can during a cup match.

Since Fifa's added big money, seems to me teams want to play in the Euro comps for the money, and not necessarily winning the comp or trophy.

Sorry Doc, have to disagree with you on the Leeds/Liverpool match as being unimportant, all games are important, it's attitude that's changed with some teams.

As I've said before, rules, regulations, formations etc may change, but football will always stay the same........:emoticon-0148-yes:

Nice cast.... who is going to jump on the baited hook?
If you are specimen fishing who are you trying to land?

I did begin to feel that way...
But Burton broke the spell, a slight set back against the bar codes but looking forward to a comfortable win against Villa.
Still have my slightly unusable Villa flights. Just figured if I leave game after half hour and you drop me to airport Id still make return flight <whistle>

About as close as you are to being a Manc.Ow hang on,forgot you hang around with Mancs.

I would have to drive through LEEDS to get there. For you its just a left turn instead of a right.

How the fecking hell are you coping with all that 50MPH ****e on the M6... It took me ages to get home on Saturday night.
