By all accounts this Pulisic kid is a big Jurgen fan, looks up to him, etc, etc.. yada, yada.. we'll see...

His agent should be angling. everyone at real has admitted it was a vanity signing just to show they could and he's really done nothing cos they expect nothing.
On 1. he is contracted to 2019. Dortmund could well just refuse to sell.
on 2. its more about playing regulalry. at dortmund he's got a fantastic position in life starting out but it is like coutinho. he is in and out. if he sees game time coming even if rues, gotze, mor etc are all there then he may well stay. The fact is he is probably 3rd or 4th in line if all are fit there.
Regarding point 1, every player, regardless of how long the contract has a price, if Klopp wants him and as sanctioned a big enough fee that he knows will tempte them to sell, then they'll sell..
Regarding point 2, ObamaYang, Rues, Gotze, Mor, Dembele are all likely to be ahead of him and that doesn't include the likes of Kagawa and Shurle who maybe ahead of him as well, once all are fit and available, I agree, he's likely to be quite a bit down the pecking order, then again, if we've got a fit first XI then he won't be starting for us either...
I'd forgotten about dembele in that lot. Auba will play no 9 so its gotze and reus as senior with shcurrle (why?) kagawa would or could play midfield not up top but yeah... theres a lot of competition there for the guy. klopp might tell him he will put coutinho back in midfield if he will come.
I dunno... all i know is we need wide players not stikers. we can shed one striker and not even feel it right now. we've 4 for 1 place.
Seen the lad play, he's got a trick, is pretty quick, not sure he's Mane quick but quick enough.
He's also got a decent eye for goal..

Coutinho in midfield to replace who though? We need Lallana's energy, we need Can and Gini at times for their physical presence and Hendo isn't getting dropped!
Think if we do sign him its a case of take your time to bed in and then put some pressure on the Likes of Mane, Lallana to keep up their performances otherwise risk being dropped!

play 2 guys at CM and then play pulisic and mane wide and then coutinho as no 10.
I would largely agree however... if we were sticking 433 he could be on the bench but could be no 1 go to guy to come on for all i know.
If we started to see a front 3 of coutinho mane firmino with pulisic and origi on the bench then surely that would be more balanced than seeing 3 strikers and no wide men?

To be fair to FSG, they've made money available to all their managers, I don't suspect there will be any money misappropriated by them!
Would love to get confirmation that Anfield Road end is being updated, but I can't see them doing that any time soon..
Who knows, it may happen if we get a Main stand sponsor as well as a Sponsor for the Anfield Road end, that would go some way to funding the expansion then!
Ideally, would like to grab a Mane backup/player to pressure him.

We're short in the FB area, that is one area I'd like to address, but that may have to wait until the Summer.
If (when) we sell/loan out Sahko in Jan, I doubt we'll replace him, we have Matip, Lovern, Lucas, Klavan and now Gomez who's easing his way back in and will be available come Jan onwards.

We have until next September it seems for the expiry of outline planning on anfield road end. IF LFC get to CL i can see this still being the big whine next year.
its not the funding IMO 70mil is not that onerous in todays money game but its still a 10/15 year payback according to ayre.
If klopp said hey.. i don't need 120mil to win the league spend the cash on melwood or anfield road great. i'd rather that than just buying to buy... but this is in context of spending 20mil net not spending nothing. theres so much money out there now... i'd like us to see something from it. The main stand was a no brainer... the others are investments with no return
