See this is why mourinho has lost it.

This sort of attitude stinks, they dont see where they are not doing enough cos mourinho cant accept and admit hes not got it right yet. they need to be thinking i need to give more, run more not that its just ace keeping and luck.

Mourinho is not the man he was
<laugh> <laugh> <laugh> <laugh>
Yeah, lets run more, **** converting the chances we create <doh>

I think its fair enough to say utd could win the europa. its also fair to say weak is relative no? I mean would utd beat some of these teams voer two legs? hmmmmm... not sure.

we will see

half chances sure...

if you put a ee bit more intensity in you'd do a lot better.
Oops

True. I think they'd struggle to beat Spurs over two legs if they do drop into it. Mourinho is an European expert though you've got to respect the fact that he has been used over the last 10-15 years to getting consistent results in European competitions.

i dunno.. spurs are over rated cos they don't have pace. their best recent side was with bale who had the pace and modric in midfield. kane and erikson are very good but theres no pace there

I think if mourinho was really at his best defensively utd would be better by now. but ok we will see who they buy to solve it. they will be cup ties this year though...

the best teams left in europa are zenit, fenerbache, anderlecht, roma, bilbao, ajax, shaktar, schalke, fiorentina, sparta, villareal.

theres plenty there the give utd a game and on the other hand not too many that would make utd quake.

dunno who drops in yet theres lots of possibiltiies, basel, the munchers, spurs, lisbon,

That's more or less it <ok>
We may not run around like headless chickens but we do create a lot of chances, It doesn't help when in 3 of the last 4 league games we played the opposition keeper got man of the match (great keeping or **** finishing?)

So basically you have too many players who can't score goals in your team. How is this a positive?

Who said it was a positive

You're going on about it like its a small thing that can be resolved easily. It can't, you either have players who can score goals or players who can't. The majority of your attacking players seem to fit into the latter group.

OPTA definition of big chance:

"A situation where a player should reasonably be expected to score usually in a one-on-one scenario or from very close range"

So clearly very subjective, has zlatan (who tops the list BTW) really had nine of these in the league?

Very true, we have a player who has scored over 400 goals in his career, another who holds the clubs Eyropean goals record and his Country's record and a couple of young lads that have decent records for the games they have played.
We have players who are failing to score at the moment, far different from players who can't score <doh>

Unfortunately yes.

Both of them are the wrong side of 30.
