Off to plumpton tomorrow! Any selections are warmly welcome! Good to see Top Notch there! And a rare visit from Barry G
Surely have to back my yard in that race altho place at best m!! could do with it chucking it down Tnite tho to slow everyone else down just lacks that extra gear, stays all day tho
I know ................ in a bar in Bilbao Hope you are keeping well Dex? I'm feeling old and worn out, not a good sign at 47. I think I need to drink more
I'm 48 Oddy so therefore older and wiser..more sauce is an excellent plan! I was at a 50th on Friday where a friend fell down a flight of stairs and broke his clavicle and blackened his eye..I respect that complete abandon even if his wife and teenage daughters don't. "Do not go gentle into that good night..."
Putting in an appearance at Plumpers myself tomorrow. Where does the forum recommed for some good post-races pub grub and ale? Winners gratefully received too!
Ludlow 14.10 Couldn't risk a win bet in my form but, if Mac Gregory can be picked up at 5/1 or more, ew should be pretty safe
not a bar Oddy...just a careless greengrocer putting soap next to his courgette display..I mean,it was bound to happen..! Hi Harby..good to hear from you.
No where in plumpton as there is one pub that's it, your better getting the train back to Lewes and goin to one of the pubs there- The Brewers arms on the high street isn't too bad
Lucky guys to be going to picturesque Plumpton on a Monday. Just because you are going; I am quite keen on the chance of STRAITS OF MESSINI 10/1 in the 2.30. Has a long absence to overcome but the handicapper has been kind enough to drop him back to the mark he was last seen running off when he fairly bolted up. A look in the paddock wouldn't go amiss and if he appears in good working order I would be steaming in. IF THE CAP FITS for me in the bumper.
Will give you an update and even a picture from the paddock with him walking round The forum reporter at plumpton
Stick what do you know about Bodekin Point? Thought he ran a bit more promisingly last time out and could develop with time.
I wouldn't put anyone off backing Roadie Joe at Ludlow today - 9/4 seems a decent price for a Grade 2 hurdle winner who has won his one and only start over fences. Gino Trail has 2 Ps to overcome, Lofgren makes his chase debut, Ozzy Thomas is already looking exposed and No Ceiling looks a pretty moderate beast who might already find the ground has too much give. Of course, it's never that easy is it?
Concern for me is his market rival fell early doors last time and it was an awful field. That said today's doesn't look much better. It's a race where none of the yards are in much form, apart from that of the favourite and therefore I am also with Roadie Joe
