Hamilton had to get the 'I only lost the WDC cos of the car' in at the end.

Lauda's 84, he won 5 to Prost's 7

Why I despise F1 sometimes.

Football is ten times worse. What's your point?

why not post something positive for a change? Almost everything you put is negative.

It was a great race. Two drivers won today. One happier than the other, which is understandable.

Rosberg is a pretty good driver, but he doesn't deserve this.

Likely to be a controversial opinion, but i can't get excited about a WDC that cruises to second behind his faster teammate and takes the title thanks to reliability. It's a shame to see it happen.

Hahahahahahahaha.

Best driver over the season ends up WDC, this season that was Nico. Next season.... Who know.

You really believe that? As if it's 100% skill and no circumstance. Always. Every season.

Over the season Nico has risen his game and done what he needs to do, when he needed to do it. Therefore, Yes I honestly believe that he deserves to be WDC this season.

Lewis is the faster driver, but he just went missing for a large period of this season.

Don't be a knob Toto. Mercedes have won the championship, one or other driver will be WDC, why would you expect him to follows those unnecessary orders. Don't be stupid.
He's a team boss first, like EJ said, and you should've let him finish the interview first, he criticsed both, Lewis for not being faster and Nico for not throwing one down the inside somewhere, but understanding why both did what they did.
What does he care which mercedes driver wins the WDC, as long as they finish 1-2 in the race, that is the most important thing.

F1 has way more fanboy stuff than any other sport, it is awful on social media like Twitter. I like a good discussion on here but you have people on twitter fixated by drivers rather than interested in watching an awesome race.

For me the best outcome is for someone to win a hard fought, super tight multi-team battle under loads of pressure and supreme racecraft.

But it doesn't always go that way in F1 and every great driver has won in a dominant car at some point. Ham 14/15, Ros 16, Senna & Prost at McLaren, Mansell at Williams.

I want to be entertained though so hopefully next season helps, but there is no guarantee and we could end up seeing Lewis-Nico IV!

Exactly. From the team operations point of view it didn't matter which driver won. Or even if one of them lost the race for the team in the attempt. Championships were already won.

that's why I'd ike to see RBR be the best, I think Danny v Max would be awesome, I think they would pay lip service, if that, to team-orders if they were the dominant car and battling for the title.

but it does matter to the team that they finish 1-2 and not 1-3, 1-4 or 2-3.

What do you think? Did Nico Rosberg deserve to become world champion?

bbc totally unbiased view. what the **** do they mean by "deserve"? perhaps Alonso "deserves" to be a better car or Verstappen "deserves" more points because he had far more exciting season than any other driver.

Rosberg "deserves" the championship because he scored more points

There were a lot of ups and downs in performance but the decisive moment in the season was Malasia and Lewis knew it but that's F1. Every champion needs a bit of luck and Nico had it this year.
