Well done Rosberg. drove past Hamilton and left him to his sulk I expect.

He's happy now but he should have done more in last races... nearly bottled it.

I think he should enjoy it while it lasts now. can't see him doubling up.

Am I right in thinking Keke won the championship without winning the most races too?

well, it went down to the last few laps, can't really complain, Hamilton did exactly what he had too, but Verstappens tyres just didn't last. once they had gone Hamilton had to back up too much, and that put Rosberg in his DRS, which nullified Vettel's and secured Rosbergs title.
There's no point criticising Rosberg for not attacking Hamilton, he tried, it's just the nature of the track and cars which make over-taking hard outside the DRS zones, he was brave against Verstappen and that was the move that won him the title.

Well done Nico. Most consistent driver of the season, deservedly WDC.

Hamilton could do no more today, or the last 4 races to have won it this year.

It happens, Lewis won the WDC in 2008 without winning the most races.

Keke is the only person to win a WDC having won just one race is a season AND having scored zero points the season before!

Oh I know that . I have the Maurice Hamilton book . With the team conflicts , one of the most fascinating seasons ever ( IMHO ) I also hasten to add NOT the best if you were a driver .

If you are feeling bored after todays race , may I suggest you watch the Monaco GP or Austria .........

He crashed in Germany and missed the rest of the season while leading the championship. He was on 39 points at the time I believe.
