And this is what McClaren said about us: "I’ve seen the games, they’ve got so much quality, Premier League quality, experience from that year in there. This team, I don’t go on form, this team is capable of beating anybody, will soon come back to form and be amongst the top six." People used to curse Hughton for 'paying too much respect to the opposition', but every manager does it.
Jacob has been a regular starter this year and Josh has had his chances as well, though more often off the bench. Thompson started against Leeds but was then injured (and still is). He has also had other appearances in the cup, as have Canos and Godfrey, so they are getting their chance. Would they under a new manager? I'm not sure they would.
There's no professional pride in the team. They look frankly disinterested in performing. Got to go, AN has lost the ability to inspire.
Somebody on twitter just said 'this is where we need a plan B' I said with this joker at the helm, forget it. Ain't gonna happen!
I agree with Jacob rick and unfortunately he is keeping Canos out of the team, but I was at the game V Celtic and he was very lively and unlucky not to score. when Jacob hit his low patch, AN could surely have started Canos occasionally. With both Martin and Bassong so error prone/likely to switch off at least once during a match, why not play Godfrey, as he has played well when I've seen him in the under21/23 games at CB???? Luckily, we have a few more under21/23 games in the next couple of weeks - at least I can enjoy those.
He has to go, we will end up relegated if things don't change. I don't think the players we have on the books have the balls for it. We need a manager who the players will play for.
Jimbob Hedgehog @JamesFinbow 1 point from the last 18 on offer. Completely inexcusable with this squad. Sack him for goodness sake. #ncfc ^^There IS no argument against this ^^
Balls gets voted off Strictly tonight and gives AN his marching orders on Monday morning. If neither were to happen, then it would be a double travesty. Today's team selection I believe confirms that he no longer has the support of all the players. Even if we had played well and were unlucky losers, it would not have made any difference whatsoever. I would even consider giving Mr Lambert a second go, although returning managers are rarely successful, perhaps Mclaren being the exception to the rule?
I thought when Steven Fry was part of the set up I proudly believed we as a club could not look more Gay. Up steps Edward Balls to flame it up to full YMCA levels. Hoping overweight washed up politicians lose in a ****ing ball room dancing contest on a Saturday night is full fruital .
As much as I wish that to be true I do think you're being a bit of a drama Queen! If you want to know what real pain is then try supporting Town for the last 15 years!!!
