Few days without a proper game, and this forum closes down. I get s**t because of the threads I start. I think most are places you can post in this situation. Otherwise....No-one will bother posting.
El General, just saw this on my twitter timeline and thought you'd find some 'bits' of interest - Sintra is first on the list Not trawled through the entire list but I will in good time. http://www.joaoleitao.com/motivation/visit-portugal/
Anyone watch the rugby league final between Australia and New Zealand? I had to smile at the match officials, they were sponsored by SpecSavers
Clearing out my Grandads loft. He's got a few very old, dusty. Partly rusted tops on some bottles of whiskeys and brandy, gin etc. Would they still be usable, for should I tip them. Don't look like they have been opened.
As it's alcohol inside and if the seal on the top isn't broken, the contents should be absolutely fine!! I'm sure if Dave sees this, he'll be better able to advise. Grammar/spelling If the contents are scotch, then it's whiskies (single whisky) whiskey is Irish.
Because of the high ABV% of most spirits, they should still be fine. Are the labels intact? If really old one or two might have collectable value? If all else fails, you can at least have the mother of all flambéed xmas puddings next month! please log in to view this image please log in to view this image
Thank you by the way for the advice, forgot I didn't say that. Some of the bottles had corks, and you could see the bits floating in it. I tipped them. A bottle was my Grandads Sloe Gin. He use to love making that, and keep it for years to improve. I took a bottle because I thought it was whiskey (he must have made it in an empty whiskey bottle). I feel bad now. Little label on it saying "Sloe Gin 1982". I can't take that. I'm going to take it back next week. My Grandad, God rest his soul, made amazing Sloe Gin. If it's the only bottle left, and dates back to 82, that should be with my Nan, and for her to decide to bring out on a special occasion.
This made me very broadly. The Trumpsters please log in to view this image please log in to view this image
Don't expect to see too much about this in the Daily Fail. http://www.independent.co.uk/news/w...arbaeen-pilgrimage-iraq-karbala-a7436561.html Also, the repugnant rag banished any mention of Jo Cox's murderer's conviction - front page news in many papers, to page 30! #DailyMail showed its shameful political colours today when it buried conviction of the neo Nazi terrorist who murdered MP Jo Cox on page 30
