Puts me slightly more at ease. I would still like him and Romeu put on longer deals sooner rather than later. The longer we leave it the more chance of their (agents) heads being turned by bigger clubs.

Watched the second half, not a pretty sight. Isgrove and Lewis the picks of a moderate team performance. Gardos went off injured after 85 minutes, there didn't appear to be any contact, however he seemed to be complaining about his right knee..
Overall Everton seemed bigger and stronger but lacked finesse, whilst Saints were pedantic at the back when in possession and didn't have shot on target in the time I was watching. Everton had several but Lewis was competent. Finished 1-1

A bit different from the previous manager. Success or pride in seeing our academy do well? I'm hoping for both.
You have to remember our u23s are mainly all very young compared to other teams.
