Paddy Davitt @paddyjdavitt Q to AN: 'if brady had half the drive of bradley johnson he would be some player. Do some of them want to be here?' #ncfc
This is heartbreaking, hideous! From the AGM Paddy Davitt @paddyjdavitt Whittaker deal was due to Brady getting touted for a move, Olsson contract running out. He is proven at this level + kept costs down #ncfc Bloody prudence, no bloody ambition - once again Makes me wonder if Doomcaster is a guest speaker at this meeting?
The full transcript will I'm sure be available online tomorrow. I just spambotted a few relevant (and sometimes painful) bits tonight
Fascinating article on MFW again this morning. Including this: "And with three generations of season ticket holders (in my family), it would be hypocritical to criticise Delia and Michael for also wanting to ‘keep it in the family’. After all, how can I demand that they handover the reins to someone else and walk away when I am not prepared to walk away myself?" Also, some of you guys get a mention - I'm sure you know who you are? "A collective crowd that tends to limit it’s frustrations to a chorus of boos at the final whistle or through cathartic rants on Canary Call, message boards, or social media." Article in full here - recommended reading, if they still get nigh on full houses each week, why would they feel the need to change much? Valid point, si? http://norwichcity.myfootballwriter...26000-of-us-who-too-are-part-of-the-problem/?
My oath! Look how much we appear to have missed IP and JH "So to see just how much the duo really mean to our team, I did a bit of maths and worked out how many points we earned with and without them. And the result of my research was much, much starker than I had anticipated. Pinto has played in 12 of the 17 league games this season. All eight wins came with him in the side with three of the others being draws, plus the defeat at Newcastle. Even more telling is that the five matches Pinto has missed have all been defeats. As for Howson, he has played in 11 league games, seven of which have been wins, two ended in a draws and two were reversals. As if I have to spell it out any clearer, all 27 points have come with Pinto in the team and 23 have been racked up with Howson playing. Is that just a coincidence? I tend to think not and just can’t wait for them both to return." http://www.edp24.co.uk/sport/norwic..._the_future_to_rekindle_team_spirit_1_4789849
Thanks Cromer and the last 2 paras sum it all up for most of us and of course a medium such as Not606 enables fans who can't get to matches to 'vent their spleen'/'give praise' (WHEN did that last happen???? on here. "The problem is that with no election, referendum or ballot boxes available, the only real option is to vote with your feet. And that’s something that many of us just can’t bring ourselves to do."
Lol, thick as thieves! No sooner does Calderwood leave Brighton for a role at Villa than Hughton signs up Paul Trollope as his replacement !
This thread is virtually redundant! Anyway, a few words from Jezzy Baby and He skipped a light fandango Balls.
Saints are playing Sparta Prague on BT showcase now if you can stomach watching Redmond fulfilling his potential . Forster & Virgil VanDyjk too.
Interesting article by Pat Nevin as to why more penalties are being saved - http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/38097799
Anyone read Mick Dennis MFW piece from tonight? If so, apologies - if not read it and weep. I just did. Not sure I've ever seen a more sanctimonious, 'in your pocket' pile of crud in all my days. I know he's on very good terms with them, but this is sycophantic garbage {Shhh - secret santa time, we could print this off, frame it and give one each to KIO and ILD for Xmas} Anyway, see what you guys reckon http://norwichcity.myfootballwriter...-they-think-best-for-this-club/#comment-79586
It's happening again!!! RB Leipzig 6 points clear at the top of The German league. Only founded in 2009, and only just promoted to the top flight for the first time last season! Really interesting story happening again!
