Hugo Lloris has cast doubt on his Spurs future by saying that he 'will see what happens' regarding his future at the club.

To be fair, you can't blame him. He's nearing 30 now and entering his prime as a GK. He will want to spend his best years at a big club who can offer him the chance of winning trophies and playing regularly in the Champions league.

I can see him going to Real or Barcelona.

This thread is desperate, even by your needy standards, Pixie!

All that article tells any sensible reader is that Lloris wants to stay at Spurs, but hasn't yet worked out a deal that he and the club are happy with.

If he is genuinely asking for £100k per week, there are not many clubs that will be willing to pay him that, especially as all the top clubs already have excellent goal-keepers on their books.

Sometimes, all you have to do is read what's on the page, Pixie, and it will go a long way to stopping you look so foolish.

Yes that's why I quoted the part where he said 'We will see what happens'. Still I suppose you have admitted that 'words fail' you.

I reckon Guardiola will be looking for a new keeper when he realises that Bravo is a sack of ****e.

I think Kane will give it another season at the Spuds before he realises he's wasting his career there. Lloris though is making noises again that his departure is imminent. He's put himself in the shop window plenty of times now. It just needs one of the money bags clubs to come waving the readies and Danny Boy will be biting their arm off.

Footballers want to play for the biggest clubs. The type to win League titles and to qualify for the last 16 of the Champions League.

Lloris is France no1 and can play at the the highest level. If the spuds can't offer him champions league football and the wages that go with the top players. Then somebody else will. He'll be 30 in December and coming into his best years as a keeper, does he want to spend them playing europey league football and scrapping with Utd for 5th place ?

  11. Yeah, that's why I made specific reference to the sensible reader. You are far from being one of those, Pixie.

I know words fail you, but the quote is there for everybody to see.

When I say everybody, you clearly need somebody to read it (out loud) to you as it's apparent that it's gone over your head.

They've won it twice since the turn of the millennium.

Only Chelsea and Man United better that.

  15. It's hardly a great return for a club that has fleeced more money from its fans than any other English club, though, is it?

Well Spurs have won as many trophies as Wigan and Birmingham in the last 15 years yet they still have the gall to charge 62% above the Premier League's average for their cheapest season ticket.

    Talk about getting fleeced...

Your club fleeces it's fans more than our club does ;)

  18. With us, there are around three-times more people applying for season tickets than are available each season. I'd say our fan-base think they're good value.
