http://www.thelittleyellowbirdproject.co.uk/articles/2016/11/21/what-happened-qpr-a I do not know who Jon Rodgers is (other than a Budgie) but I love him. Clive is great. his LFW blogs make me smile......but this guy is amazing...I am so glad we won...so Jon had to do this Please enjoy this
I can't believe this guy hasn't died of embarrassment after stuff like that. Sorry Beth, t'was awful.
It reminds me of this forum about 3 weeks ago (if we were armed with loaves of bread and blank pieces of paper). Hillarious. Although possibly not in the way it was meant to be.
This is the sort of tripe I have to endure on a daily basis, now you know why I really hate the Budgies!
Yes indeed, I can't believe I just wasted 3 mins of my time listening to that tripe. So glad we have our Clive with his witticisms! In Getafe after the the final whistle, I thought I saw a blue & white QPR scarf being waved in the stands - any chance that was you, or was I imagining it - now the Getafe scarves were also blue?
It definitely wasn't me as I didn't have a scarf but I wish I did have one as I was soaked to the skin and freezing. I was stood at the back of the stand drinking vino tinto with two happy locals towards the end of the game. They were delighted when they scored the penalty. All the Getafe fans started waving their scarfs when they scored.
Sorry the weather didn't cooperate better for you - but perhaps not quite as bad as that torrential downpour when you attended that German pre-season friendly match and got sucker punched in the face by some crazy idiot. I don't imagine you had much time sightseeing on this brief trip. I guess if you had a QPR scarf you could have pinned it next to others in their supporters club room, to go with the Fulham (or was is Brentford) scarf?
You have a great memory lol. The clubhouse had scarves from three English clubs, Villa, Fulham and Brentford as well as a few others from other clubs around Europe. If I had brought a QPR one, yes, I would have given it to them to put on the wall. I have been over there a few times so have seen the sights before. Instead of sightseeing, I was too busy drinking. Had a brilliant night Saturday in the James Joyce pub watching the rugby and the Madrid derby.
