Like everything, 90 points is prob the average title winning number over past X years.

Its not hard to underatand, you can't predict the future but best you can do is use past performance and stats to get some sort of idea.
Only you and me seem to get it mate <ok> ... plus the OP lays out precisely where the 90 points comes from

So they go through all that **** just to get a table identical to the ACTUAL league table?! <laugh>
Juking it to make Liverpool seem better seems less sad than that !!
It's supposed to be a bit of fun and lay off the 'seek help' comments directed at me if you don't mind, I'm only recently back on here after 8 months, funnily enough 'seeking help'.

Got to be Luv, he's very unstable because he's from wales
Although I never look at rawk unless there's a link posted on here, when I have looked I've never seen anything outlandish. In contrast I followed a link the other day to an Everton fan site were they were discussing the new stadium and there was a prolonged conversation in relation to walls and Liverpool. I though that sort of rubbish was outgrown long ago.

Some people too simple to understand it seems @Bodinki <whistle>

It's like discussing performance after the game it means nothing at all, but we all do it as we find it interesting.

People get scared by stuff they don't understand and easy to reject out of hand that try open your mind and <ok>

Why have we gone onto stats and tables... can't we just go back to Astro talk?

Matip has not been directly responsible for any of 9 goals liverpool have conceded in 10 games and has a 99% aerial duel win rate. He is clearly the best premier league defender

JB has asked me to read the OP and I've read it..<ok>

There are too many assumptions for this to be anything other than a bit of fun. It cannot be remotely be taken seriously and those who do are even more silly than they think they are. What do they say "a little knowledge is a dangerous thing..."?

The idea that if a team drops 7 points from 3 "easy" matches they are already out of the title race is beyond farcical. It makes so many assumptions. First that the team in question will carry on the same form. Two, that the 3 teams classified as easy were the same as last season and made no improvements. On this basis Leicester was classified as "supereasy" at the start of last season, yet they ended up as champions and were extremely hard to beat.

Without the use of stats or the Alternative table, common sense tells us that no club is out of any race after 3 matches, IRRESPECTIVE of how easy these matches are supposed to be.

I think the official Premier League table does a decent job of that.
They finish in the top 4 every season on their wonderful alternative reality table, last season they didn't count Leicester when they were top of the league - as they shouldn't have been there <laugh>

Surely come the end of the season the table matches the real league table no? As you feed more data it must become more accurate to the real thing
