That Spurs is a **** result for us if we are really honest. They were undefeated but they had multiple draws and that win would give them great encouragement. Sure the mancs will be disappointed too but for a chasing team IMO it is preferable for the teams in front to be bunched up rather than having one or two runaway leaders.

I was gutted that West Ham collapsed in such a fashion with only a few minutes left. What was that defender thinking hooking Son in the penalty area with just one minute of injury time left? FFS !!

Don't care what others do tbh

I'd rather win the league than be given it.

All very noble but I bet many here will feel gutted if Whammers beat us but give away cheap points to our challengers. Winning the title is not just dependent on what we do but also how the others do. Think about it <whistle>

Spurs are irrelevant. The more confident they are the better they'll be at taking points off our rivals. If they end up challenging us with their thin as **** squad then we already messed up.

City with the return of Toure are looking ominous. They could have easily lost 2 points today but Toure got them out of trouble.

Arsenal as usual intimidated by the mancs and lucky to get one point. Not title challengers as far I am concerned. Again like last year the pundits thought that they were favourites. They were dreadful.

All teams drop points. I certainly won't watch opposition teams hoping they will **** up for us

In the example you gave, I'd say we shouldn't have dropped points.

As I said all very noble but if there are one or two clubs with us in the final straight in April and May, you'll be in a minority of one amongst the fans not wishing "the others to **** up for us " surely you don't want them to get 3 points for each game. <whistle>

How confident are you Diego that you'll finish top 4 mate?
At this stage of the season with the squad we have and what they should be capable of, still quite confident.
If we reach Jan and are still not looking like a team I will be a fair bit less so :emoticon-0100-smile

United looked more of a team today but I expect them to go back to being **** when he brings back Zlatan and drops Martial/Rashford

I do not think that you are out of the top 4 challenge. The title is probably out of reach for you. But it is all dependent on how quickly Mourinho can hit upon his best formation.

I remember in the 70s when we were winning everything and Man United were in the doldrums, one of our managers said "Let's pray they don't get their act together or else they'll be unstoppable". Let's hope it is not history repeating itself.

Yep, expecting two teams to lose 6 points more than us over two thirds of a season is reasonable, expecting five teams to drop as many as eight more than us is a bit too much.

That said, Chelsea have just had a little run of 5 wins and look where they are now.

Man Utd need to drop Ibra and Pogba but fortunately got the one manager incapable of doing that <ok>

Conte changed to 3 at the back to get success, Mourinho thinks he can do twice as well with 6 at the back
