In short, no.

Lucas has actually developed into a decent holding player, who can also do a job as an attacking midfielder.
For £9m he'd make a reasonable replacement for Palacios, as back-up for Sandro.

Liverpool have no intention of selling him, his wages are probably too high and there are better options available, though.
I can't see him joining a club as anything other than a first XI player, especially one where he'd be playing second fiddle to the player that looks likely to take his place in the Brazil side.

The rumour's made up, in my opinion.
 
There's no way we'd let you have him, especially not for 9m.
 
I did say that ZL, but I think that Sandro's a better player and Lucas would be in competition with him for a place, hypothetically.

I don't think that you'd be looking to sell him, anyway.
Your only back-up in that role is the unfancied Poulsen or some of your youth players, who seem more attack-minded.
 
I agree. Sandro is the better player. Unfortunately, he's injured. As much as we look a completely unbalanced team without a Defensive holding player, I can't seriously think that Harry would be looking at Lucas.
 
The rumours about Diarra coming in to replace a Stoke-bound Palacios are rumbling on.
 
Diarra, at the right price would be O.k. Last I heard though, Real wanted £18-20mm - plus the wages looked like being a problem, too. We might be better off sticking with Palacios, until Sandro is fit. If his idea of being back in one month, instead of three, is correct.

Theres no chance of you signin Lucas.Hes worth DOUBLE the £9m now, our player of the year last year,and he deserved it.The guy has been constantly improvin for the last 3 years,and was brilliant last year.Now a Brazil ( first 11, not squad )regular,Sandro isnt,and probably future Brazil captain,and possible future Liverpool captain

Sorry, we've recently been bombarded with similar reports that Lucas is leaving or being loaned out and we're getting quite sick of it. He's a big part of LFC now, and part of the reason why we let so many goals in pre-season was because he wasn't playing.

Just lazy journalism!

Sandro will be a Brazil Regular, very soon. He's already a better player than Lucas. As PNP says, we don't want, or need him - please keep him.
