Great read, thanks 9's...its gonna be a cracking atmosphere to welcome Ollie back, and if we go 1 up it'll be magical.

*when we go 1 up it'll be magical. My bad.

...when/if we do I really hope they crumble like they did at Brighton a couple of weeks ago - a big win could be the catalyst for our whole season!

Are we going to win?

Ollie has lived up to all expectations with his lurrve of his employer, random opinions on everything he is asked about and humourous soundbites. But a spineless showing today will have us baying for his head.

I was reading in the paper today that Klopp spent hours pre season discussing playing left back with James Milner, who was not thrilled by the prospect. He was not required to switch, but was persuaded to for the team. They put a plan in place and Milner has been outstanding in that position this season. He still doesn't really want to play there, but now sees his job as making sure Klopp doesn't buy another left back next summer. He's says Klopp's training sessions are deliberately anarchic, three balls in play, if you are not 100% focussed you have no idea what is going on.

I hope Ollie makes us smile on the pitch as well as off it, but I would sacrifice an arm for someone like Klopp in charge.

That would make matches much more entertaining, three balls in play at all times...

5 at the back? or a 1 sitting in front of the back 4? or a 4 in midfield of Chery, Luongo Cousins plus?

not sure what to make of this... I'm not even going to mention Sandro's inclusion... ah dammit!

It could be 5-3-2, ie wing backs.

I think and like that Polter and Washington are upfront.

I am slightly surprised not see any wingers on the pitch, or the Polish lads. However, this could be tactical. I wil reserve judgement until after the match.

Do we have any wing backs though? Perch and Robinson? Really?

No worries for you guys this afternoon we are gobshite with a clueless manager, at least if you give us a good tonking he might get his marching orders. He's made 6 changes leaving out the best player on the pitch last time out, still no place for Lafferty not even on the bench <doh> Bassong starts so it's a given he'll gift you a goal and the useless Naismith also starts. I hope I'm wrong but I really can't see us getting anything from today's game :emoticon-0101-sadsm

Pop over to gloat later if you want :emoticon-0105-wink:

Does anyone by chance know of any streams for this game? Wishful thinking I know.

Don't see anything here, where I usually try - seems they brought their cameras to Barnsley instead.

Unfortunately I'm heading out of town in 30 mins - perhaps I'll let my wife drive and try and follow updates on my mobile en route.

Reactions: daverangers
Ian Holloway looked a little more focused chatting to QPR chairman Tony Fernandes on his arrival at Loftus Road earlier.

The joviality is sure to stop for the next couple of hours as the real business of picking up points starts.

But don't worry, I'm sure Ollie's got a few crackers lined up for his press conference after. We'll be bringing you all the reaction and talking points after the full-time whistles go.

Turkeys, golf clubs and big hugs

The return of Ian Holloway to QPR is the perfect excuse to dig out some classic 'Ollie' quotes, and a few new gems from his opening press conference at Loftus Road.
