<cheers>

With that lazy bastard @Holden Chinaski again AWOL overseas, it falls upon your truly to start tomorrow's Must Win match thread.

It could be a shocking attendance, with the Nugent/O'loughlin duo fooling nobody and unlikely to boost the *real* attendance much above the 7,000 mark.

Our defence creaked badly at Swindon last Saturday, with Fox hopeless and even Solly struggling. One of the many plus points of Slade's departure is that we may see Teixera back now to replace to cumbersome Pearce?? Tight finances aside, there is no logical explanation for not starting with Baeur and Tex in central defence. Fox is also crying out to be dropped, but moving Foley back risks losing his creativity in midfield.

With Saga Holidays rumoured to be at the Valley filming their Xmas holidays ad, we can all look forward to seeing the spritely Jackson-Crofts-Foley combo in the midfield, with the Vale players at risk of injury only by tripping over their zimmer frames. Assuming Lookman will be back, I am suggesting the following line up:

Rudd
Fox
Solly
Teixera
Baeur
Jackson
Crofts
Foley
Lookman
Magennis
Ajose

Subs:

All centre halves

Botaka has to play on the right. Lookman upfront with Novak. Chicksen on the left.

Can't fathom travelling to go and watch blokes barely better than yourself have a kick about. Is your wife that unbearable?
My wife encourages it, anything to be away from me!

It's called groundhopping Donald, I'm up to about 450 now.

Perhaps I will shout the following at her.

To thine own self be true, and it must follow, as the night the day, thou canst not then be false to any man.

Why not?

Out, damned spot! out, I say!--One: two: why,
then, 'tis time to do't.--Hell is murky!--Fie, my 40
lord, fie! a soldier, and afeard? What need we
fear who knows it, when none can call our power to
account?--Yet who would have thought the old man
to have had so much blood in him.
