Cannae be arsed cooking.

Maybe Tuna and Baked Bean Sandwiches. With a smattering of Worcestershire sauce.

Yeah that sounds palatable.

What is everyone having/had?

For tea...

...call me crazy but I generally soak tea leaves in par boiled water. Add sugar/milk to taste.

Me, am no sugar and very little milk in very strong tea accompanied by at least two smokes. Everybody else is a poomongo.

Sugar and milk??

What a ****in ignoramus

I don't have sugar in ma tea. Very little milk.

You can have whatever you want in your tea, ya poomongo.

Ignoramuses are people who call their evening meal 'tea'. The ****wits.

Try booking a restaurant for yer 'tea';

"Hi, is this Qua?"
"Yes, sir, how may I help you?"
"Can I have a 7pm table for two for tea?"
"Tea? For two?"
"Aye."
"Any food with your tea, sir?"

Tea is taken at 4.00pm and is not a meal it's more of a snack. It involves the famous Indian beverage, maybe bread and jam, possibly cake. Either instead of or as well as supper - depending on whether you had lunch. And how poor you are.

No that is Afternoon tea or High tea.

I did not specify either of these.

So you are incorrect.

You started this thread at 7.27pm. That's too late for tea in my book. What you had was supper. Or possibly dinner. Not tea. Did you even have a cup or mug of Rosie Lee with your beans?
