Welsh damsel may not be able to go <wah> Welsh damsel is trying to get out of having to work this weekend to complete a big project. Welsh damsel needs to stop talking about herself in the third person and has to balance going to see her beloved Saints against getting the sack (no, not really but I'm seriously running out of time to finish this job :()

Yet Welsh Damsel has time to post on here <whistle>

Well, I always dread playing Liverpool. Really scared this time though, they've been monstrous recently.
We should take that as a compliment given that almost half their side was developed here. In truth, Klopp must take a fair bit of credit given that Lovren Clyne and Lallana are only under him achieving what they did at Southampton. Mane has actually improved since joining - to the extent that he is more consistent.

In the meantime we have also improved. For me, Tadic is a step up on Lallana and VVD is several steps up on Lovren. It's Mane that has not yet been replaced because Boufal is still getting up to speed (remember how Mane was when he first arrived?).

It will be a great game Saturday. Would not like to predict the result at all but entertainment will be 10/10.

Liverpool have looked better recently, but are by no means invincible. By all means fear a team on form, but don't let's elevate them to title holders just yet. There isn't a vast difference between us and Liverpool...it would be a good result if we beat them or drew against them, but hardly earth shattering.

Bloody hell, FLT. The lengths people will go to rather than travel with you!

Good luck, Helen. Are you a lucky mascot? If so, be there. If not, enjoy the work and keep your phone handy for updates (harsh but fair).

Nah, my one and only previous game at St M was this season's opener against Watford. At least we didn't lose...

Anyone know if I can return my ticket?

The ticket exchange is usually open if the match sells out

Really not feeling positive about this one and fear a heavy defeat.

I know they've got a dodgy defence but we're hardly scoring at all. Read the other day this is the fewest goals we've had after 11 games since returning to the PL <yikes>

My worry isn't purely based on how good they'e been so far - and they have been superb - but more the contrasting styles.

I fear the pressing will work a treat against our slow patient build up. I remember how much joy we had against posession teams under Poch (ironically Pool under Brenda being one of them).

I would actually like us to try and go a bit longer during the game to try and bypass their midfield.

Are Fraser & McCarthy definitely out? <yikes> What's the fullback situation? Wouldn't mind Boufal starting if he Tadic can't play.

The positives for me is Coutinho & Firminho play in Peru late tonight so may suffer from jetlag and Henderson & Lallana both start tonight so we may be that little bit fresher.

Well just maybe Lalllannnnna might be injured seeing as he just went off in the England game.

Have Mane, Coutinho and Firmino all had to travel millions of miles for their friendlies? Mane was always a bit iffy for us first game back.

I do believe I shall be at the Farmhouse too. Apparently I owe Fats a beer :)

If Helen doesn't come, he will need consoling.

Unfortunately re. Mane I think Senegal only had 1 game so he should be fine.

Firminho & Countinho play in Peru late tonight though.

I reckon Adam will be fine.

I want Nathan to nutmeg Clyne, Romeu to flatten Lallana and Charlie to fluster Lovren into giving away a last minute penalty.
