So it would appear that they can still kill but have lost the ability to clean investigations or last wills.

It's worked out all sorts of different ways! But throwing some votes around is usually a good way to look for patterns and at least encourage people to get involved by defending themselves.

so if vamp targeted jurgen he would already be dead & vamp would lose bite if (and it is a huge IF) i have understood the rules.

Possible and he wasn't in the mix to be lynched until near the end. Still think way it's worded 'every 2nd night' suggests it's night 2/4/6 rather than 1/3/5

I've only not gone for mikey or Bodanki as both have appeared since and posted, though if they don't have further input I might be swayed to jump onto one of them as Danilo was under threat yesterday and still didn't talk up and no-one seemed to try and save him after he was added to the vote late on, except the possible move by the purple dildo adding Jurgen into the mix which would slightly reduce chances of those in the coin toss being killed.

I don't see the point of that at this stage, there's more to go with than popping off inactives at this stage.

Just an early vote to try and get some movement and reactions <ok>

Though if you've noticed something better for us to go on feel free to share. So far all I've come to the conclusion on is that we can't use the inactives as a way of figuring out the arsonist or vampire, it's still too early to figure much out from the voting unless I've missed something and no-one has done anything which particularly draws attention to themselves.

Astro provided a link to the possible motive behind last nights actions.

I'm not saying it's correct, but it makes sense.
 
@Nev The Purple Dildo care to offer an explanation why you decided to change it from a 5 way tie to a 6 way tie... throwing in jurgen who we now know was a VT?

Trying to give someone in there better odds at surviving without killing someone outright?

The vampire hunter visiting suggests they had reason to suspect they were working alone. Probably not someone just being quiet because there were several options. Mafia visiting suggests someone likely to be a danger to them, but now they know they (probably) won't make the same mistake again.

Or maybe it wasn't about the game and they chose their target based on previous history. Mitro (Penfold) and Town (Hope) are both Newcastle fans? Do they have a common enemy or something?

All I think we can tell from both going for the veteran is that the veteran is someone who drew attention on day one... But we don't want to draw attention to who the veteran might be!

I suppose that also shows at least one of the Mafia was active on day one, but again that doesn't really help us at all.

Unless I'm missing something?

I was a vamp last game, IBWT was the VH.
In that game the vamps could bite on night 1.
It's usually likely that the vamp chose to bite someone who was killed, we've often seen in these games that everyone seems to target the same 1 or 2 people in one night.
HOWEVER in this game Vampire acts third (after Lynch & Jailor but crucially before Mafia) so it makes it less likely.

See last night's actions:
Day 1 report:

Jurginho is lynched. He is TOWN (before Vampire action)
Mafia attack the veteran. He blasts MITRO. He is the MAFIOSO (after Vampire action)
The vampire hunter hunts the veteran. He blasts TOWN. Town was the VAMPIRE HUNTER (after Vampire action)

So either
(1) the Vamp attacked Jurginho, which is possible but would be pretty daft as he was in the lynch tie.
(2) The Vamp was locked up by the Jailor
(3) The Vamp was inactive.

I think (2) and (3) are a lot more likely than (1). The Jailor has a fairly decent chance of having locked up the vamp night 1...
