I see mr koeman is sniffing around depay. He can smell a bargain.

Young lad gone awry, prob 12mil will get him.. he can't lose. and it reinforces the utd reserves mentality aorund goodison.

I have made no secret of what i am about to say, but hope we both get top four.obviously i hope we win it, but if we couldnt i would be happy if Everton won the title, great for the area and it means either one of the manchester or southern clubs misses out.

You're very mellow for a blue jotl, he went out of his way to make the statement and even acknowledged he as Everton manager shouldn't say such things.<laugh>

If(which is very far fetched I know)Everton were ever in with a shout of title success I'm sure our manager wouldn't stoop so low as to say it.<whistle>

He didn't go out of his way at all, he was asked about Liverpool.

He said you were playing some good football and scoring plenty of goals - a simple fact

He was then asked could you win the league - he said of course you can, but you're not the only contenders.

He was merely calling it, as it is, if he'd have said - No I don't think they can, he'd have been labelled a bitter Blue and delusional.

Koeman is an honest manager, he always has been.
