And I would like to put on record, here in full public view, that Ellers said it and Ellers said it first, Holloway will be a disaster, and he deserves full recognition for this opinion, now, yesterday and tomorrow, and every other time he reminds us.

    Hail the new Nostradamus!

And is what some fans want? Great at a few soundbites and laughs but knows very little about football.

If it's Holloway, it's evidence of a huge lack of ambition imo. He's done nothing of merit recently. Keep some decent memories, leave him as a quirky pundit and spread the search overseas. There's a gaggle of failing or personally inadequate English ex-managers around at the moment and it's like a game of Championship musical chairs

It's hardly a massive gamble to predict a QPR managerial appointment will end in tears.
I'm going to go out on a limb and say the one after Ollie will too.

If the media are correct the only Manager we were interested in who would have shown some ambition by the Club was Clement. it's hard for me to see much to gain in sacking JFH, just to replace him with any of the rest.

Funny you say that Goldhawk because I was saying when i found out about Holloway that it stinks of appeasement. No ambition or forward thinking. I joked saying is it part of TF's Short, meadium or long term project.
It wouldn't surprise me if TF has had enough of QPR and is looking for the perfect exit.

Due to his enthusiasm and passion for the club I have always backed TF even when most have been calling for him to step down. But this latest fiasco is trying even my patience. First off, there surely can have been no one who attended many of our early season games who couldn't see this situation coming and the club should have acted sooner when there was an excellent field of candidates available (Warnock being the most obvious choice). Having left it too late we are now scrabbling around: it's pretty clear that Holloway was not the first choice candidate (in reality he was probably not even on the shortlist when the process started) but as usual the club have not done enough homework and are now scraping the bottom of the barrel. I do think Tony has been incredibly unlucky with his appointments (no one would have predicted the failure of both Hughes and Redknapp) but he needs to mitigate the bad luck with good organisation and stewardship of the club. I'm finally beginning to wonder if he has the skills to do that.

I am very excited about Ollie and Birch; two legends who will get our Rs back.
Even though, I assume and hope that this is a short term fix until Clement takes over in the summer.
Did you hear what Birch did at Brentford while playing for Millwall? Or what Ollie said when he was very ill? These two things speak volumes about the direction we are taking.

No I Don't Totally. Sadly all I remember was having the P taken out of me at Vauxhall Motors and not being able to beat a 9 man Luton or throwing away a game at home to Wolves or many of the other games I witnessed under Holloway.
I repect what he did for the club at the time but now we have all moved on. I do remember something about Holloway being i'll and then turning up in leicester for a job interview.
