Hello chaps, in the football world you hear about to be a good team you need a good squad containing 2players for everyposition to be able to compete at the top end of the table.

Looking at our squad it aint to bad is it :D

GK - Craig Gordon, Simon Mignolet
RB - Nedum Onuoha, Phil Bardsley, Marcos Angeleri
    LB - Kieran Richardson
CB - Titus Bramble, Anton Ferdinand
CB - John Mensah, Michael Turner
RM - Jordan Henderson, Ahmed Elmohamady
LM - Steed Malbranque, Bolo Zenden
CM - Sulley Muntari, David Meyler
CM - Lee Cattermole, Christian Riveros
    ??? - Stephane Sessegnon
CF - Asamoah Gyan, Fraizer Campbell
    CF - Danny Welbeck

If you go by the two players for every position we are 2players short but I am seriously liking our squad remember first game back in the prem against Tottenham we had a team of...

Craig Gordon, Dean Whitehead, Paul McShane, Nyron Nosworthy, Ross Wallace, Carlos Edwards, Dickson Etuhu, Liam Miller? (I think), Kieran Richardson, Daryl Murphy, Anthony Stokes

times certainly have changed makes me shudder just thinking about it wouldn't have anyone of those players at SAFC now bar the two who still play for us obv.

Point is we were happy with that team back then. It was good enough to stay up as well but is miles away from where we are now. I just can not think where we will be in three years time if we continue to grow at this rate.

Just hope we all keep our feet on the ground and make sure that we do not turn into them lot up the road.

we will have to keep the glory hunters in check because we will get them at this rate.

    But happy days happy days
