Re Redmond - I think it's a mixture of thngs as to why he left and firstly, maybe he was played 'out of position', but he used to pop up on both sides of the pitch, but he could also be very lazy and not run at clapped out defenders such as Ferdinand. He had the talent obviously, but neither CH or AN were able to harness it in our tactics/style of play and I'm really pleased he's gone to Saints, as I think their attacking style will really suit him.

Edit - just seen this Cromer -
As they say in these parts - 'it beggars belief', but I'm sure the vast majority of fans wouldn't be too upset if there was some truth in the rumour.

Might be why Moxey has had so little to say - perhaps he's been delegated with going right through yellow pages on the hunt for a 'suitable' replacement? And he's still only up to D <laugh>
I had to laugh at this comment from the article - "Norwich believe they will not have a shortage of high calibre bosses ready to step in, if they decide to pull the plug on Neil's reign." <laugh> REALLY????? <yikes>

This in my humble opinion is our boards biggest failing/s...we need a proven manager not these unknowns or journey men we keep going for!

‘It is up to players to deliver the results to make supporters feel better,’ - Norwich City CEO Jez Moxey

And there was me thinking it was all the fans fault for not cheering the recent dross served up to the rafters! That's what I've had drummed into me on here <doh>
Moral of the story - don't believe all the toot you read on fans' football forums <ok>

Decent, committed displays get fervent, passionate support in return. Just how it should be.

We'll be scouting all of Europe as we speak to short-list their finest managers.

Edit - I think we might have done that before and we got Neil Adams....

The Welsh have wimped out of wearing Poppy's. Obviously don't understand the meaning of UNITED Kingdom then!
Disgraceful!!!
The rest of us WILL remember them!

11:00AM and the phones were ringing in my office and a colleague rang my extension. We stood there in silence, when I didn't pick it up said colleague stormed across the office, I completely blanked him as he went into one. When the radio came back on I gave him dog's abuse, but he just said that the customer comes first.
For once I said, "**** the Customer, if it wasn't for the likes of my Grandfather who fought in the trenches he might not even be here nor you !" I sent him off with his tail between his legs looking a fool

Just to catch up. The Hitc article is a speculative click bate effort if ever there was one. Anyone can see the club is wobbling and they have taken an idle punt that we are actively looking to replace him ASAP. It maybe true after crowd response and non-performance vs Leeds but I'm sure they have little evidence of this and are trying to look the super well informed journos, but if we don't sack him they can just say that all of europe had no better available managers. Even if they have no plans to sack him, I would hope that like when we recruited Neil we are looking outwards for the just incase scenario, he may quit, have a melt down, lose the next 6 games? You should always have a short list of europes finest and the youth coaches for that rainy day.

As for Redmond, he wasn't hounded out, maybe frustrated out by not being picked by our wonderful manager. Like many, I had reservations about him, he was something of a luxury player with his poor defending and sometimes questionable commitment. But I never wanted him gone. I do think we got a good price for a player in his final contract year in a deal that was good for everybody. But thats not the same as hounding him out. To say he never fullfilled his potentioal at City is something I don't think anyone would dispute. I don't think he has been paticularly missed, Jacob played as well/better than Redmond in his early games this season but has suffered with the team. Redmond would have disappeared by now too.

Shame on the Taffs and yes the FA are a useless bunch, they'll probably hire Southgate!!!! <wah>

Bah!
