IMHO this will end in a draw .

 

India 63-0 at the end of the second day .

 

Look like a draw....unless we get some quick wickets. However, that is a good start to the series (if it finishes like that) as we traditionally don't do well in India.

 

As you say, a draw would be quite a good start when you consider India's home form at the moment.

A draw would NOT be a good result for us. We have to win this test match from the position we're in.

 

We're unlikely to bowl the Indians out twice on this wicket.

 

Kohli and Pujara aside, their batting line up isn't that good. We can beat them.

 

Well, obviously I hope we can but to beat the world's no1 team at home would be phenomenal. Unfortunately, I'm not sure we are good enough.

 

India 195-1. England slowed them up for a while, but couldn't get the wickets they needed if this Test isn't to end in a draw.

It's hard to see them winning but England can still lose this.

This was obviously a mistake on my part. What I should have said was "We're unlikely to bowl the Indians out once on this wicket".

 

We could have had a lead of 77, but Cook puts down a dolly that I could have caught.

 

India out for 488. England have lead of 49.

 

England finish on 114-0 with a lead of 163. Only 1 day to go.

 

One session left. England declared giving a target of 310. India now 54-2.
