Politicians say one thing when seeking election and then find when they are in power that they can't...because of repercussions. If America becomes a difficult place to deal with, a lot of countries will want to deal with another big market...oh yes, that will be us. Nothing is ever straight forward.
 
A friend of mine has two tickets for the Formula 1 final race of the season the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, at the Yas Marina circuit on the weekend of the 25th - 27th November. They are box seats and include flights, hospitality, and hotel accommodation. He didn't realise when he bought them that this is the same weekend as his wedding. If you're interested and want to go instead of him....













... it's at St Johns Church, Worcester at 2.15pm on the 26th. Her name is Janet. She’ll be the one in the white dress.

Is Spanish your thing?
A friend, in Spain, said to a female sales assistant "Quisiera una polla grande", then wondered why she burst out laughing.
She realised that he had meant to say "Quisiera un pollo grande", and served him with the large chicken, he should have asked for.
I'm sure she enjoyed telling her friends about the Englishman who had said, to her "I would like a large cock".

I'll be honest I got quite bored of it.

I'm going to watch some episodes of Black Mirror (Charlie Brooker) which are supposedly very good. I saw one yesterday about virtual reality video-games and it was indeed very good, although as they're standalone episodes it felt a little bit rushed.
