I really do not care what the Government has promised Nissan. They employ 6,700 people, that is 6,700 people paying taxes and NI contributions. That is 6,700 people possibly not having to claim welfare. If Nissan receive a tax break to remain in the UK I call it good business.
The same as all the fuss over Amazon a year or two back and how much tax they paid or didn't pay. They employ directly in excess of 9,000 people, add to this the delivery drivers or Royal Mail delivering their products, the haulage firms delivering to Amazon, the fuel being brought in UK stations, the Amazon sellers making an honest living selling via the site and the tax the government receives from these employed people not to mention the £11.9m Amazon still paid in tax, if Amazon receive a tax break or incentive I don't give two hoots, them being in the UK brings far more to us than them not being here.
