Mmm. In another write I can't copy now, Clive asseseses the various candidates and concludes the players were giving Jimmy 100% and that most of the candidates will struggle to get as good a tune from these same, with a big risk of relegation. Ideally he wants Colin back. I share that view but think Sam would do and he is available I believe. Don't want Holloway, Clive suggests as a stopgap.
Holloway as interim manager. What sense does that make? I wonder was something going on behind the scenes with JFH.
Dougie Freeman now linked. Everyone is now linked. Does Paul not want to come, Tim too expensive, Holloway to eager, Robinson too young....or is it all smoke and mirrors
We are surely doomed for the same sh1t fate. Shame that they completely aren't interested in bringing in a tough, foreign, attack-minded manager. I have come to accept the fact now that TF has given up on his bigger dreams and are now just looking at paying off the club's debts slowly and perhaps one day be a stable team in the 2nd tier of our country's leagues. There's no room in London in our parts for a stadium of our dreams at the moment anyways, so we might as well buckle down for a long, slow haul, eh?
Anyone thought that the board may of had a plan here? I thought it was said that they would be making a quick announcement? Only at QPR and we all have to endure the PR of how they got their man all along and the dreadful media department then starts again with the same old spin and it's swallowed I agree with Mr Clive as I feel the current squad cannot at any stage be accused of not giving they may just be a collection of 5/10 players I haven't seen enough of Washington for example to suggest he can instantly overnight turn into a good player ... the chances I have seen have fell to him and is there that capacity for him as an example to make chances not of nothing ... just an example Fans called for this sort of team against ready meal players I see nothing much apart from our keeper that needs a lot of development . The names of other players we have are proven failures that no one wants To that it may be difficult for anyone to sort this lot but either way it will be interesting and entertaining What it may do I hope it awake a stock check in the fan base and level the expectation... we can only ever be a avarage championship side at the moment ... that doesn't match the speeches made from our club but they should blame themselves We have already signed 10m players and I thought that would only go up We don't seem to have this youth back up yet where we produced product and face another round of new players in January ... where loans maybe the only hope Any new manager may get it right and we kick on but I still think we stick with one man whoever and build from the bottom That means loads of matches with experimental formations and loans we maybe able to buy later
Forget Washington, he's just a 2nd rate forward, not even a striker. We obviously have Sylla, and why he didn't start the last game is probably why Hasselwank got sacked, Sylla didn't look hurt or tired to me, he just looked like he wanted to get it in. We just need a head strong manager who's wiling to put the players where they know they can play. But it doesn't hurt any of us here to let down our expectations a bit and stop listening to all the b.s. PR verbiage they have to spew to appease the lawyers and put out something on the website to make it look like we're doing something.
