According to Spanish outlet Diario Gol, Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane has placed Liverpool midfielder Phillipe Coutinho at the top of his transfer wish-list. The report says that Real boss Zidane is a huge fan of Coutinho and would love to bring him to the Spanish capital. Zidane has also told Madrid’s chairman Florentino Perez that Coutinho is the top item on his wish-list in the transfer market. There is a silver lining, though, for Liverpool fans. Madrid are currently embargoed in the transfer market until 2018, which means there will be no bids from Real for their star man for some time. However, if Coutinho is still a Liverpool player in 2018 then Real Madrid could be one of the first clubs to make an enquiry. Zidane is looking to replace James Rodriguez – who has fallen out of favour during his tenure – and sees Coutinho as the ideal man to come in and take the mantle. http://www.msn.com/en-gb/sport/foot...e-target/ar-AAk0oQZ?li=AA572I&ocid=spartandhp
I do like Mama.. gave his all when playing.. But, we've a better defender in Matip playing now and forming a decent partnership with Lovern. No matter how much of a cult hero Mama is/was, I don't want to break up Lovern/Matip, well, that is until we sign a better defender to play alongside Matip!
Aren't they expected to start (sometime soon) serving a 2 or 3 window Transfer ban for some dodgy deals? Hence the reason they're giving long contracts to their existing side/squad? If he does leave, he's likely to be off to Barca to eventually replace Iniesta
they are currently serving it. I think you are right though... iniesta replacement is best call. Most immediate danger too. But as i said we can name the price.
Can see a Suarez scenario.. he signs a new contract, gets a wee increase in weekly wage, we get a big release clause inserted... and if we don't win/get top 4 (even then I don't think he'll stay) then he goes to Barca in the summer, would love to be proved wrong because all of a sudden you can see him moving up a notch in performance level.. but most South Americans, if they get the chance to play for Barca or RM, they'll jump at it!
Azmoun first came to Liverpool's attention 3 years ago when he was at Rubin Kazan and his form has been monitored ever since. (Tony Barrett)
Unless theres a silly low release clause we dont need to cos hes signed to 2020. He deserves the contract though which i a different argument. I do agree. the style would suit him but he is a very quiet lad so he needs to only go to barca cos he is best mates with neymar. Go to real and they could chew him up
Coutinho would be best suited to Barca. I'd hold out until next summer then realistically hold out for around £60million+. Wonder how it'd affect Firmino. With him being Brazillian and the type of player he is, I can see Barca coming in again once improves his performances. I'd even argue that right now Firmino has been far more consistent and the stats are in his favour. No doubt we'd rinse any teams that came calling for the pair.
